On Friday, March 7, former North Myrtle Beach High School standout Austin Fine’s current college team, the Catawba Indians, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Coker Cobras.
The game took place at Newman Park. This was their first matchup against the Cobras this season.
The Indians’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 12 p.m. at Newman Park against Coker Cobras.
Coastal Carolina University’s track and field teams are participating this week at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship hosted by South Alabama. Several student-athletes hold top marks within their events for this season’s conference rankings.
