Coastal Carolina University’s track and field team completed the Raleigh Relays on March 29 in North Carolina. The event featured several strong performances from the team’s athletes.

The meet is considered significant as it provides athletes an opportunity to compete against top collegiate talent, offering a benchmark for upcoming competitions.

Among the notable results, Coastal Carolina’s women’s 4×100 meter relay team secured fourth place with a time of 45.88 seconds. Zionna Perez-Tucker finished sixth in the women’s 200 meters, clocking in at 23.78 seconds. Ticora Gaskin earned eighth place in the women’s long jump with a leap of 5.89 meters.

The team will return to competition at the Gamecock Invite scheduled for April 10-11 in Columbia, South Carolina.
