Coastal Carolina track and field completes second day at Raleigh Relays

Coastal Carolina University’s track and field team finished the second day of competition at the Raleigh Relays on March 27.

The event is an important opportunity for athletes to achieve personal bests and compete against strong opponents. The meet will conclude on Saturday, with events beginning at 9 a.m.

On Friday, several Coastal Carolina athletes posted notable results. Zionna Perez-Tucker placed 16th in the women’s 100-meter dash with a time of 11.72 seconds. Addison Laughlin set a personal record in the women’s 10,000 meters, finishing in 35:14.91. Maya Studney achieved fourth place in the women’s triple jump with a mark of 12.36 meters, also setting a personal best. In men’s competition, Josh Canteen finished twelfth in the triple jump with a personal-best distance of 14.69 meters.

The final day of competition is scheduled for Saturday morning.
