Alexandra Horn led the Chanticleers with seven points, scoring four goals and providing three assists. Nikki Seven contributed three goals and two assists, while Charlotte Erb added three goals and one assist. The victory brings Coastal Carolina’s record to 2-0 for the season.

The Chanticleers established momentum late in the first quarter by scoring four consecutive goals. Sophie Kingsborough opened the scoring, followed by man-up goals from Seven and Horn as Coastal capitalized on early penalties committed by Presbyterian.

Presbyterian narrowed the gap in the second quarter, reducing Coastal’s lead to 6-4 before Erb scored with less than two minutes left in the half, giving Coastal a 7-4 advantage at halftime.

After halftime, Coastal took control by netting five goals in the third quarter. Horn and Erb each scored twice during this period, while Gabrielle Beaudet also found the net. The Chanticleers dominated draw controls throughout the game, finishing with a 19-6 edge thanks to strong performances from Megan Hummel and Evelyn Kitchin.
