Congressman Russell Fry, representing South Carolina’s 7th district since 2023, recently communicated several updates through social media. His tweets addressed local constituent services and expressed his views on national media coverage and border security.
On June 10, 2025, Congressman Fry announced that “Team Fry will be hosting mobile office hours in Chesterfield and Horry County this week to make our office more accessible to you!” The event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Constituents can seek assistance with Social Security, Medicare, the IRS, Veterans Affairs or other inquiries during these hours.
Later that day, Fry criticized a news outlet by stating “Fake News CNN can’t resist a misleading headline.” He emphasized support for military personnel by adding “We love our troops!”
On June 11, he commented on the state of border security under current leadership. He shared his perspective that “…The border is silent.” He implied dissatisfaction with the current administration’s handling of the issue by noting “A headline you’d NEVER see under the Biden Administration.” He further stated that a change in presidency was necessary.
