Fry, who succeeded Tom Rice and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2022, continues to engage with his constituents via social media.

On March 20, 2025, Fry criticized the spending by the U.S. Department of Education. He stated that “Since the creation of @usedgov, it has spent over $3 TRILLION! And for what? America has some of the lowest test and literacy scores in the world.” He further commented on President Biden’s policy direction: “@POTUS is giving the power of the purse back to the people closest to our children—states and parents.

In another tweet dated March 21, 2025, Fry expressed concern over political actions against automotive businesses. He questioned public reactions by stating: “Imagine the outrage if it were Republicans destroying car dealerships and calling for vandalism of an ELECTRIC vehicle company!

Later that day, Fry highlighted his visit to a local business in Hartsville. He tweeted about Hogge Precision Company: “For 35 years, Hogge Precision Company has been manufacturing precision machined components right here in Hartsville! I had a great time touring their facility and learning how we can continue to support their work here in South Carolina’s Seventh.
