On Friday, Feb. 28, former Conway High School standout Mac James’ current college team, the Mount Olive Trojans, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Emmanuel Lions.
The game took place at Scarborough Field. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.
The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Scarborough Field against Emmanuel Lions.
Coastal Carolina University’s track and field teams are participating this week at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship hosted by South Alabama. Several student-athletes hold top marks within their events for this season’s conference rankings.
