The FPC Concert Series at First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach is our February Nonprofit of the Month sponsored by South Atlantic Bank.

Also called Brown Bradley’s Promenades, the concert series kicked off their 2023 season Feb. 10 with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players. The series will feature violinist Soobeen Lee on March 3, soprano Magdalena Kuzma on March 10 and pianist Dmytro Choni on April 14.

Brown Bradley has organized the concert series in Myrtle Beach for more than three decades. Bradley is an Orangeburg native who performed for many years on Broadway, was a tenor soloist in the U.S. Air Force Symphony and Singing Sergeants for four years when he was drafted around the start of the Vietnam War.

After having children, Bradley and his wife moved to Myrtle Beach where Bradley served as organist and choirmaster at First Presbyterian Church. Now in his late 80s, he is mostly retired, though he continues to help organize the award-winning concert series.
