On Friday, April 18, former Georgetown High School standout Owen Powell’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, won 11-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Chowan Hawks.

The game took place at Sparrow Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Sparrow Stadium against Chowan Hawks.
