Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office recovers stolen vehicle and drugs during search warrant execution

Sheriff Carter Weaver of the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office announced on May 2 that deputies recovered a stolen vehicle and illegal drugs during the execution of a search warrant at 17 Feanus Lane in the Lanes Creek Community. The search, which took place on March 24, resulted in the recovery of a stolen 2020 Infinity Q50s and nine grams of crack cocaine.

According to Sheriff Weaver, the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Georgia and was previously involved in pursuits with local law enforcement before its seizure. Warrants have been obtained for Caitlin Estelle Bullock for possession of a stolen vehicle valued greater than $10,000, possession with intent to distribute cocaine base, and possession of marijuana. The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office at 843-546-5102.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office supports community safety through initiatives such as the Citizens Academy, Explorer Program, Neighborhood Watch, Ride Along opportunities, and Active Shooter Training according to its official website. The office manages several facilities including its main location at 430 North Fraser Street as well as a detention center at 2394 Browns Ferry Road as stated on its website.

Affiliated with Georgetown County government according to its official site, the sheriff’s office operates a detention center capable of housing up to 212 inmates as noted online. Its responsibilities include enforcement operations along with corrections, judicial services, and communications units as outlined by the agency.

Additionally, trailer stamping services are available through the sheriff’s office to help deter theft and aid identification efforts according to information provided by officials.
