On Sunday, March 16, former Socastee High School standout Jay Wrightsman’s current college team, the College of Charleston Cougars, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.

The game took place at Patriots Point Athletics Complex. This was their third matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Patriots Point Athletics Complex against Winthrop Eagles.
