At 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, the Longwood Lancers, featuring former North Myrtle Beach High School standout Cam Freeman, dropped a 9-3 NCAA Division I baseball contest to the Alabama State Hornets.

The contest was held at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex, marking the teams’ third meeting this season. Earlier on Saturday, March 7, the Lancers also lost to the Hornets, 11-6.

Freeman pitched one inning, giving up one earned run with one walk and one strikeout.

Longwood is set to play host to the George Mason Patriots on Tuesday, March 10, at 4 p.m. at Buddy Bolding Stadium.
