On Sunday, March 2, former Waccamaw High School standout Ben Cohen’s current college team, the Marshall Thundering Herd, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights.
The game took place at Kennedy Center Field. This was their third matchup against the Knights this season.
The Thundering Herd’s next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 5 p.m. at Kennedy Center Field against Ohio Bobcats.
Coastal Carolina University’s track and field teams are participating this week at the Sun Belt Outdoor Championship hosted by South Alabama. Several student-athletes hold top marks within their events for this season’s conference rankings.
