On Saturday, March 15, former Georgetown High School standout Owen Powell’s current college team, the Francis Marion Patriots, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Belmont Abbey Crusaders.

The game took place at Abbey Yard. This was their third matchup against the Crusaders this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Sparrow Stadium against Lander Bearcats.
