On Sunday, April 6, former Socastee High School standout Jay Wrightsman’s current college team, the College of Charleston Cougars, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Elon Phoenix.

The game took place at Hunt Softball Park. This was their third matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Patriots Point Athletics Complex against Towson Tigers.
