Of the 16,200 people living in North Myrtle Beach in 2019, 51 percent (8,260) were women and 49 percent (7,940) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Myrtle Beach Leader.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 4,469-to-4,314. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,922 females and 2,767 males.
