Census Bureau: More women than men in Myrtle Beach in 2019

Of the 32,700 people living in Myrtle Beach in 2019, 51.9 percent (16,971) were women and 48.1 percent (15,729) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Myrtle Beach Leader.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 9,591-to-9,481. In the 65 and over age range, there were 3,705 females and 3,315 males.
