The Myrtle Beach Fire Department hosts Public Safety Day, a new event set for 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 9, at Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place. This free event brings fire and police departments from across Horry and Georgetown Counties together to demonstrate their capabilities. Everyone’s invited to attend, enjoy activities and enter giveaways. This is an opportunity to meet the brave men and women who serve the community daily! For information, call 843-918-1192.
