Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on October 12.
A general surgeon who performs a wide range of procedures has joined Tidelands Health Surgical Specialists and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Jack Johnston provides surgical care and treatment for a variety of conditions, including diverticulitis, pilonidal disease, skin cancers including melanomas and hernias. He also performs appendectomies, endoscopies, gastroesophageal reflux procedures, minimally invasive colon and rectal surgeries and more.
Dr. Johnston sees patients at Tidelands Health Surgical Specialists offices at Tidelands Health Medical Park at The Market Common, 2200 Crow Lane in Myrtle Beach, and Waccamaw Medical Park West, Suite 104, 4040 Highway 17 in Murrells Inlet.
He earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed residencies at MUSC and East Tennessee State University.
