City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on October 22.
Attention, drivers! Two new digital speed limit signs are in place on 79th Avenue North. Myrtle Beach's Public Works staff installed the signs Thursday morning to give you instant driver feedback and help keep you at or below the posted speed limit. Similar signs are in use on Farrow Parkway and Coventry Boulevard in the Market Common area. The digital signs are powered by solar panels.
