Georgetown County: County Council to move back into Council Chambers

Document

Georgetown County issued the following announcement on November 5.

Beginning with its Nov. 9 meeting, Georgetown County Council will relocate back into County Council Chambers in the historic Screven Street Courthouse. Council meetings moved to Howard Auditorium in 2020 to allow for better social distancing during the pandemic. Council members said they wanted to move back to Council Chambers this fall. The Nov. 9 meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Due to the holidays, council only meets once per month during November and December.
