City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on November 10.
Everyone is invited to the City of Myrtle Beach's annual Veterans Day Ceremony, to be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 11, on the plaza at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. See the attached program. This year’s guest speaker is Colonel Elizabeth Litvin, US Army (Retired). We’ll enjoy patriotic music by Festive Brass, the Missing Man Table and a wreath presentation. Thanks to the Green Sea Floyds High School Junior ROTC for providing the color guard. Parking at the Convention Center is complimentary for this event. The ceremony is presented by the Military Appreciation Committee and the City of Myrtle Beach.
