City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on December.
The City of Myrtle Beach is helping other local organizations collect toys for children in need this holiday season. We have drop-off boxes in the city buildings listed below and welcome your participation. The Horry County Sheriff’s Office and Rape Crisis Center are the organizers for this campaign to “make Christmas come true” for kids who are in the most need. See the contact information on the flyer for more details. Here are the drop-off locations:
• Myrtle Beach City Hall
• General Robert H. Reed Recreation center
• Crabtree Memorial Gym
• Mary C. Canty Recreation Center
• Chapin Memorial Library
• Pepper Geddings Recreation Center
• Fire Stations No. 1 through 6
• Police Department
