City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on December 17.
Looking ahead, most city offices and facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, December 23-24. However, Chapin Memorial Library and city recreation facilities will be open on Thursday, December 23, but will be closed on Friday and Saturday, December 24-25. Solid waste and recycling will be collected on the usual Monday through Thursday schedule during the Christmas week. Questions? Contact the Solid Waste Division at 843-918-2160.
