City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on December 16.
Myrtle Beach’s economy bounced back quickly! Nashville, Fort Lauderdale, New York, Austin and Orlando are just a few of the cities Myrtle Beach outperformed when attracting visitors since 2019. The City of Myrtle Beach is #1 in the USA for hotel revenue recovery in the last year. Myrtle Beach and the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area were the only two cities with positive numbers in the top national top markets.
