About Sensory Friendly Movies Many people with autism have difficulty sitting still for long periods of time and tolerating unfamiliar environments, lights, sounds, smells and crowds. Sensory friendly movies have the lights up, sound down and people can move around.

About Autism Autism Autism is a general term used to describe a group of complex developmental brain disorders – Autism Spectrum Disorders. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by communication difficulties, social and behavioral challenges, and repetitive behaviors making unfamiliar environments triggers for tantrums and meltdowns. An estimated 1 in 54 children in the U.S. is on the Autism Spectrum and that number is increasing.

About Champion Autism Network Champion Autism Network’s vision is to have a world where all people living with autism CAN live, work, and play without judgment, guilt, or worry. CAN helps families by educating and empowering communities, businesses, and organizations to promote understanding around autism by creating supportive and judgement-free experiences for people living with autism.
