Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce: MBACC Starts Nonprofit Council

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on March 2.

Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce started a nonprofit council this year.

The council aims to promote the sustainability and growth of the chamber’s nonprofit organizations and strengthen their role in the Grand Strand community. 

Shannon Furtick, business development services manager for the chamber, serves as the staff liaison. Pablo Chavez, general manager of Ripley’s Aquarium and Attractions and chamber board member, is chairing the council for 2022.

The council is working on networking events and seminars that will be open to all nonprofit investors of the chamber.

Below are the council members who will serve a two-year term:
