City of Myrtle Beach issued the following announcement on March 8.
Attention, music lovers... The Nights at Nance concert series is coming back in 2022! Myrtle Beach’s Arts & Innovation District hosts “Nights at Nance,” a concert series that features performances by local and regional bands! The concerts will be held twice monthly on Thursdays, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Nance Plaza in Myrtle Beach’s Arts & Innovation District. Bring family, friends and lawn chairs to celebrate the spring season with live beats and good eats, with two food trucks on-site for concert-goers to enjoy. This season, we've added different themes to our evenings of fun. - 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 31 – Paul Grimshaw (Gnosh Pit and Nola’s Stuffed Sno-Balls) Pelicans Baseball Night (Members of our local minor league baseball team and Splash will be at the plaza to greet the public.)
- 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., April 14 – Chocolate Chip and Company Band (Jerk Caribbean and Benitos Rolling Oven) Art at Nance Plaza (Local artists who display their work at the Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum will showcase their artwork.
- 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., April 28 – Julio and the Saltines (Renkos and Braz Bowls) Pooch in the Plaza (The Grand Strand Humane Society will have pets available for adoption and will accept donations for its shelter.)
- 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., May 12 – Band TBD (Mama’s and Papa’s and Benitos Rolling Oven) Family Reunion (Families and schools in the Myrtle Beach area will re-unite and wear paraphernalia representing the school in which they attended.)
