Georgetown County issued the following announcement on April 7.
Georgetown County offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, April 15. This excludes some county recycling centers.
The centers at Johnson Road, Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island will be open on Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All other centers will be closed all day Friday. All centers will be closed on Sunday.
