Georgetown County issued the following announcement on April 9.
The Georgetown County Office of Elections and Voter Registration is looking for people interested in being poll workers during the June 2022 primary elections. Poll workers will be compensated for completing necessary training, as well as working the day of the election. Pay starts at $135. No prior experience is necessary. Poll workers must be at least 18, but 16- and 17-year-olds can apply to be poll manager assistants.
