Myrtle Beach Leader

Of the 9,292 people living in Murrells Inlet in 2020, 50.9 percent (4,734) were women and 49.1 percent (4,558) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Myrtle Beach Leader.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 129. In the 65 and over age range, there were 1,902 females and 1,465 males.
