Congratulations to Myrtle Beach Firefighter of the Year nominees Mark Walsh, Lloyd "Thad" Bowman, Brian Whittington and Joseph Friedman (not pictured). The Chicora Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach recognized the life-saving work by all four of today's nominees and the city is lucky to have them as our first responders! Lloyd "Thad" Bowman is the recipient of this year's award. Bowman was recognized for many reasons, including being a man who leads by example.
