The City of Myrtle Beach welcomes Cynthia Stewart to the team as our Applications and Security Manager. She will oversee cyber security and software operations as part of the city’s Information Technology Department.
Cynthia brings decades of information technology, avionics and aerospace industry experience through her careers in New York, the US Navy and California’s Silicon Valley, respectively. She is a US Navy veteran, and moved to Myrtle Beach with her two children, fiancé and dogs in 2017. “I moved to Myrtle Beach because of the beach, pine trees, clean air and kind people with Southern charm,” she said. Her favorite things to do are travel and take a cruise. “I’m looking forward to the rest of my career in the City of Myrtle Beach!”
