Give Back This Holiday Season

The holiday season promises a joyous celebration with fabulous feasts, good company and long-awaited presents. But, it can often be a challenging time for many in the community. If you’re looking to spread cheer and goodwill, consider supporting the nonprofits below or in the chamber’s nonprofit business directory listing.

Nov. 29 is Giving Tuesday and all area nonprofits would appreciate donations. Here’s some with special events or fundraising drives.

  • Coastal Athletic Foundation’s Chantsgiving is a 24-hour giving day that supports all Coastal Carolina Unviersity athletic programs on Giving Tuesday. Donate
  • Donations to the Alzheimer's Association can go twice as far thanks to an anonymous donor’s matching challenge. Donations made through Dec. 31 will be matched, up to $700,000. Donate
  • The Long Bay Symphony is raffling a 2023-2024 season subscription to anyone who makes a donation of $50 or more on Giving Tuesday. Donate
