Summer Internship Program
Coastal Carolina National Bank is now accepting applications for Summer 2023!

Internship is for eight weeks and will be offered from June 1 to July 31 at the Myrtle Beach location.

SUMMER INTERNSHIP – Paid Position

Coastal Carolina National Bank is a growing community bank, headquartered in Myrtle Beach and several locations throughout South Carolina.

The bank is offering an exciting summer internship program, designed to provide the successful applicant with an overall understating of community banking.

The internship program will last eight weeks and rotate through multiple areas of the bank including retail banking, credit, business lending, banking operations and more.

The Intern will interact with both employees and customers and potentially assist with special projects and be based primarily out of our Myrtle Beach location.

The Intern will have a primary point of contact who will help coordinate the scheduling and be available to offer assistance, when needed.

The goal of the program is to identify potential future employees who will be a great fit for our company and convey our team’s “We Can Do That” spirit, by which CCNB is known.

At the end of the program, the Intern will prepare a wrap-up presentation to the Leadership Committee.

The presentation will include a summary of what the Intern learned about community banking, highlight areas of potential improvement and provide recommendations to enhance the internship program.

Basic Qualifications:

•    Currently enrolled (during the time of the summer internship program) at an accredited collegiate institution

•    Ability to work 40hrs per week during the duration of the program (8 weeks).

 Preferred Qualifications:

•    Possess a positive attitude

•    3.0 minimum GPA

•    Strong desire to learn and grow

•    Interest in banking as a career

•    Strong verbal and written communications skills

•    Critical thinking skills

•    Ability to multitask and adjust priorities based on business needs

•    Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
