Myrtle Beach Chief Municipal Judge Joi Page recently certified several of the city’s K9 officers to detect and alert to the presence of hidden contraband. “I was impressed by the relationships between the human officers and the K9 dogs,” Judge Page said. “Each animal was tested and duly certified. What a wonderful experience and a great law enforcement use of the skills of our canine friends!” Here, Judge Page poses with K9 Yep, a Malinois X, a newer hybrid of the Belgian Malinois and the German Shepherd.
