Later that day, Fry visited Station 39 in Carolina Forest to express gratitude towards @hcfirerescue personnel for their efforts in managing the wildfires. He also acknowledged over fifty jurisdictions across North and South Carolina assisting with firefighting efforts: "I just visited Station 39 in Carolina Forest to thank our incredible @hcfirerescue personnel for their service to the community and for their help in getting these wildfires under control."
In another tweet on March 3, Fry alerted residents about an air quality warning issued due to wildfire smoke affecting Horry County.
