Waccamaw High School standout Luke Alford’s college team won in NCAA Division II baseball game on Tuesday, March 4

On Tuesday, March 4, former Waccamaw High School standout Luke Alford’s current college team, the Coker Cobras, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UNC Pembroke Braves.

The game took place at Schmotzer Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Braves this season.

The Cobras’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Newman Park against Catawba Indians.
