CONWAY, SC (June 1, 2022) — The Conway Chamber of Commerce announces the graduation date for participants of its annual Leadership Conway program.
A graduation ceremony will be held June 1 to recognize 17 graduates.
Each graduate has completed a curriculum of broad-based leadership perspectives to become familiar with Conway area needs, opportunities and resources.
The eight-month course began in September 2021 and explored topics such as regional history, community affairs, communications and media, healthcare, public utilities, economic development, transportation, education, public safety, government and politics.
Participants gathered to increase knowledge of exemplary leadership skills. In addition, graduates teamed together to complete multiple community projects, volunteering nearly 500 combined hours with local organizations.
