Later that same day, Fry emphasized the significance of Duke Energy’s Robinson Nuclear Plant located in Hartsville, South Carolina. He discussed the potential benefits of extending the plant's licensing, remarking, ".@DukeEnergy’s Robinson Nuclear Plant in Hartsville is a huge asset not only to the Seventh District of South Carolina, but to the entire country." He suggested that an extension would benefit the country's nuclear production and its overall energy industry.
