On April 13, Fry shared that he was "honored to join Speaker @newtgingrich on Newt’s World to discuss rogue judges' attempts to block President Trump’s America First agenda".
Two days later, on April 15, he tweeted about his appreciation for first responders in Carolina Forest, stating "What an incredible opportunity to honor the first responders who fought to protect Carolina Forest against the wildfires. These men and women are the reason no homes or lives were lost. I am forever grateful to them and what they do for us every day".

Russell Fry, who was born in Surfside Beach and currently resides in Murrells Inlet, has a background in law, having graduated from the University of South Carolina and the Charleston School of Law.
