Myrtle Beach Residents Contribute More Than $41,000 To R.A.I.N. Program For Animals

Did you know…. That Myrtle Beach city utility customers contributed $3,685 in June 2022 to the Grand Strand Humane Society as a part of R.A.I.N. (Remembering Animals In Need)? For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, our generous customers donated $41,634 through R.A.I.N. Would you like to make a regular contribution through your city utility bill? Visit https://www.cityofmyrtlebeach.com/R.A.I.N... to download the form. Submit the completed form at the City Services Building, 921 North Oak Street. The city forwards all collections to the shelter each month to feed and care for shelter animals, including a spay and neuter program. All told, since R.A.I.N. began in April 2011, customers have given $456,596 to help homeless animals in Myrtle Beach. Thank you for caring! By the way, the Grand Strand Humane Society celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.
