Congressman Russell Fry, representing South Carolina's 7th district, has shared a series of statements on social media regarding recent political developments. These statements reflect his perspectives on the Biden-Harris administration's energy policies, allegations involving FEMA, and President Trump's influence on international trade negotiations.

On November 25, 2024, Congressman Fry expressed criticism towards the current administration's approach to the oil and natural gas sectors. He stated: "The Biden-Harris administration has waged a political war on our oil and natural gas industries over the past 4 years. I am looking forward to President Trump supporting domestic energy production of all kinds which will bring inflation down and support American jobs."

In another post dated November 26, 2024, Fry addressed claims concerning FEMA's response during Hurricane Helene. He mentioned that "Another FEMA whistleblower has corroborated claims of an intentional avoidance policy for assisting Trump supporters' homes during Hurricane Helene - this time in Georgia." He further noted that he and his colleagues at GOP Oversight are committed to investigating these allegations.

On November 27, 2024, Fry commented on President Trump's potential tariff proposal and its effects even before any official action was taken. According to him: "President Trump does not mess around. Without even having taken office yet we are already seeing his MENTION of a tariff proposal spurring neighboring countries to come to the table and work with us to close our borders." He emphasized that this reflects the commencement of an "America First agenda."
