On January 23, 2025, Congressman Fry emphasized the need to address issues created by previous administrations to "Make America Great Again." He stated that securing borders, ensuring safety, and balancing spending are essential steps toward achieving what he describes as "America’s golden age." Later that day, Fry commented on legislative complexities in relation to the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. He argued for medical care for children born from failed abortions while noting opposition from House Democrats. "Some legislation is confusing and complex. The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act is not. A child born as a result of a failed abortion should receive medical care. 204 House Democrats disagree."
