Congressman Russell Fry, representing South Carolina's 7th district, shared several statements via social media on recent national issues. Fry, who has been serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Tom Rice, commented on various actions taken by the President of the United States.

On January 23, 2025, Fry made a statement regarding border security measures: "Murderers and rapists off the streets. 1,500 active duty troops sent to the border. @POTUS is putting AMERICANS first."

On January 24, 2025, Fry commended the President for his response to Hurricane Helene: "An absolute class act. @POTUS spent nearly an hour with NC residents who lost their homes to Hurricane Helene, asking personal questions to make sure we fully understand the severity of the disaster and what they need to rebuild. This is the leadership that America needed."
