FIRST IN SERVICE FRIDAY: JESSICA LEWIS

FIRST IN SERVICE FRIDAY  Please help the City of Myrtle Beach congratulate Jessica Lewis of the Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Department for being this week's First in Service Friday Employee of the Week! Jessica is part of the mowing crew for PRST, but has been with the City since 2009! In addition to being part of the irrigation, beach and litter crews with PRST at some point in her career, she also worked at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Jessica is a Myrtle Beach native, MBHS graduate and also plays in the City's adult softball league. Her nomination reads:

"I nominate Jessica Lewis. She works in the Parks and Recreation Division. She is a team player and will go the extra mile to help anyone. Jessica maintains a people first attitude. If you ever see her out working, you will notice she works with a smile. She gives the job 100% and is what I would call First In Service . She is a people person and cares for others, this show when she is working with co-workers or with the public. She meets many types of people when working outdoors. She keeps her calm and has empathy for the individual whether they are combative or calm. Jessica gives respect to everyone and practices active listening skills. Jessica and her teammates keeps our parks beautiful and she does it with great pride. While working, she meets many visitors to the city. She helps visitors with any questions they may have and also gives many lost visitors directions. Jessica puts the first in 'First in Service.'"
