Congressman Russell Fry, representing South Carolina's 7th district, shared several statements on social media regarding his upcoming mobile office hours and his views on current political issues. Fry, who succeeded Tom Rice in Congress in 2023, has a background in law and previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives.

On December 3, 2024, Fry announced that his team would be hosting mobile office hours in Chesterfield and North Myrtle Beach on December 11. He invited constituents to "stop by for any assistance you may need with Social Security, Veterans benefits, Medicare, the IRS, or another federal agency." The post can be viewed here.

The following day, December 4, Fry expressed criticism of sanctuary cities through a tweet stating: "Sanctuary Cities = tax-funded violence, gangs, and housing of illegal immigrants. This administration has provided four straight years of America-last policy. No more!" The original tweet is available here.

Later that day, Fry addressed energy policy concerns by tweeting about the perceived hindrances caused by regulatory measures. He wrote: "The Left's obsession with creating red tape has prevented our nation from reaching its full energy potential. We must increase production of oil, gas, and nuclear energy within the borders of our OWN country. The stranglehold on American energy ends with @realDonaldTrump!" The tweet can be accessed here.
