Congressman Russell Fry has officially taken his oath as a member of the 119th Congress. The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Speaker Mike Johnson in Washington, D.C., marking Fry's role as the United States Representative for South Carolina’s Seventh Congressional District.

The Seventh Congressional District, reestablished in 2013, comprises Chesterfield, Darlington, Dillon, Georgetown, Horry, Marion, and Marlboro Counties, along with parts of Florence County. Congressman Fry will be participating on two significant committees: the House Committee on Energy and Commerce and the House Committee on Judiciary. Furthermore, he holds the position of sophomore class representative to the Elected Leadership Committee.

In a statement following his swearing-in, Congressman Fry expressed his commitment to serving his constituents: “It is an honor to continue to serve the Grand Strand and Pee Dee as their voice in Washington,” he said. He further emphasized collaboration under national leadership by stating, “Under the leadership of President Donald Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson, we are going to ensure Americans come first as we work to Make America Great Again.”

Congressman Fry operates from three offices: one in Washington, D.C., located at 345 Cannon House Office Building; another at 1500 Hwy 17 N, Suite 304 in Surfside Beach, SC; and a third office at 1831 West Evans Street, Suite 300 in Florence, SC.
